The Rhone Commuter Pant has quickly become one of my go-to pant option for workout activities. This pant has a nice level of comfort and stretches well to accommodate my thicker quads and glutes. It is built with a Flex-Knit fabric which is composed of stretch polyester blend so it doesn’t have an overly “shiny” look to it and is durable
If you’re an athlete or lifter that is on the market for a good durable and versatile pair of pants that can perform well at different training settings, then the Rhone Commuter Pant could be a good option to opt for
Rhone Commuter Pant Pros
Over the course of my testing and review process, I’ve enjoyed The Rhone Commuter Pant and have found multiple construction and performance pros to note with this amazing pant
- Good for Pretty Much everything.
- Flex-knit fabric is durable and comfortable.
- Decent Pant option for all-season wear.
The First Good Feature to like about the Rhone Commuter Pant is that it is so versatile You can wear it to the office, out on the golf course, on a date, lounging around the house, running errands, etc Its versatility is pretty unrivaled
Another Good Feature With The Commuter Pant is the Flex-knit fabric Rhone uses in this model. The Flex-knit fabric moves and breathes well, it has also a 4-way stretch construction and this pant is lightweight. I also enjoyect the pocket system in these pants. They are deep enough to easily hold your belongings and other valuables you want to keep secure.
The Last Feature to like about The Rhone Commuter Pants is that they are good-all-season pants.
For Hot and Warm Seasons, you can choose lighter breathable pants and they perform well at keeping sweat away
For Cold Season, You can choose warmer pants and they are good to bear and withstand very chilly days while keeping your legs warm
Rhone Commuter Pant Cons
For the most part, The Rhone Commuter Pant has been a strong pant in my apparel lineup. However, there are a couple of cons to note about them
- Snap Button Could be reworked
- Not the most cost-efficient
The first knock that I could see others having with The Rhone Commuter Pant is that Rhone uses a snap button in this pant.
With Snap buttons, you run the risk of losing their snappiness over time compared to traditional buttons (Which I think they would be a better call for these pants) and you also run the risk of the pant popping open when bending and putting stress into the waistband
Another drawback that I could see in these pants is that the price point is slightly higher compared to other options from other brands on the market For the Rhone Commuter Pant, you can expect to pay around $128 to 138 USD, this is definitely a more premium men’s pant:
Performance and Styling
To discuss the performance of the Rhone Commuter Pant, I’m going to break down how these pants do in key contexts (mobility, breathability and durability) and talk about a couple of ways that I like to Style this pair of pant
Rhone Commuter Pant Performance Breakdown
The Rhone Commuter Pant performs well in various training settings. When it comes to casual wear and wearing it in office settings I could see two key features that I personally enjoyed
First, I like the breathability and the lightweight of the fabric, besides this material moves well and is easily adjustable
Second, I like the pocket system in these pants. They are deep enough to easily hold my valuables like my phone, wallet and keys and keep them in safe when doing things like upstairs or jogging across the street if I’m pushing the crosswalk timer
A part from the Casual wear, you can wear these pants for golfing, you’ll really like the mobility you’ll get from these pants. They don’t ride up like other non-stretch pants which is a bonus for anyone who is fond of golf.
Men: These Pants Will Change Your Painfully Uncomfortable Commute.
Styling The Rhone Commuter Pant
These Pants can go with so many different outfits that it’s pretty easy to style. Here are some outfit ideas that I have personally tried and that I have found work really well So enjoy!!
In colder months, you can rock these pants with a sweater and a vest with boots
In Warmer months, pair the commuter pant with streetwear shoes with button-ups, polos, or long-sleeve shirts. It all depends on the context in which you are wearing them
Rhone Commuter Pant Sizing
For Rhone Commuter Pant, you should be safe going true to size based on their sizing recommendations.
One of the things that I enjoy about Rhone apparel is that the size fits true around the waist and the crotch fits well too (but depending on the sizing option you go with the legs)
Another thing that I enjoyed about Rhone Apparel is that the company offers multiple sizing variants with inseam options for the commuter pant. If you like a slim or skinny fit, you can get this option along with regular, jogger and 5-pocket. Personally, I think the regular pant will be the right call for guys with thicker leg muscles
For example, in this review I’m wearing a regular Commuter Pant and here are my dimensions
- Waist: 32-33″
- Weight: 182 lbs
- Mid-Thigh: 24″
- Hip Width: 39-40″
- Height: 5′ 9″
Although my waist size is around 32-33″ I often go up to 33″ to award myself additional room for my butt and thighs, the commuter Pant doesn’t feel overly baggy
Price Breakdown
For the Rhone Commuter Pant, you can expect to pay between $128 and $138 USD. In my opinion, I think this price point is slightly higher compared to other brands Rhone has sale points here and there so keep an eye out if you want to save a little money or check out some of their “surplus” options which have marked down final sale prices so that you could opt for a budget-friendly option
